§Terms

The contract.

Frisky Developments LLC · New Mexico. Effective 2026. Paying $49 $69 means you accept these terms.

  1. 01 · The deal

    By signing in at friskydev.com and paying $49 (discounted from $69) you buy a license to the Paperclip kit from Frisky Developments LLC. This is not a SaaS subscription and not a hosted Cloudflare product.

  2. 02 · What you get

    Encrypted desktop builds for Windows, macOS, and Linux, LICENSE.md, README, and checksums. One year of updates from the purchase date. The build unlocks with the license key emailed after Frisky login. This is not a source dump you republish.

  3. 03 · License

    One seat per key. You may run Paperclip commercially for your own work. You may not fork the code or ship it under your name. The seat is device-bound. The desktop build is encrypted and unlocks only with your key. $49 includes one year of updates. After that the seat still runs; new builds are not owed.

  4. 04 · You may not

    Fork or ship the code under your name. Strip the key gate. Resell the kit, offer PLR, dump keys, run a reseller pyramid, claim this is a hosted Cloudflare SaaS, or list dens / NSFW against the brand.

  5. 05 · Activation

    The desktop build is encrypted. Your license key decrypts it on this device. Keychain on Mac (AfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly) — not UserDefaults, not iCloud. Credential Manager on Windows. A reinstall on the same machine should still find the seat. Erasing the device kills it. No key, no desk.

  6. 06 · Checkout

    Login at friskydev.com is required. There is no guest checkout from this page.

  7. 07 · Third parties

    Use of codePup in this template is included. The GitHub App, Actions minutes, and Copilot may incur other fees. Composio and each connected app bill on their own side. SuperGrok is xAI's product. Z.AI GLM is Zhipu's product. Kimi Code is Moonshot's product. Similar OpenAI-compatible coding plans are theirs too. Paperclip does not bill those.

  8. 08 · macOS

    v0.1.0 Mac builds are unsigned. Right-click → Open, or run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine on the app. A signed dmg comes later.

  9. 09 · Refunds

    Our policy intent is that sales are final. Gumroad can still process refunds through their system. If the zip is corrupt, write founder@friskydev.com with the checksum.

  10. 10 · Accounts

    The kennel is a Frisky account. Do not claim ChatGPT, Claude, Kimi, or Google as this product's login. Pair the phone to the same Frisky account.

  11. 11 · Frisky MCP

    Restricted. Not a public memory spine. Other customers cannot inherit the operator pool.

  12. 12 · Grandfather

    Buyers before the LLC swap keep their original terms. We keep that archive.

  13. 13 · Updates

    $49 includes one year of updates from the purchase date — new encrypted builds, patches, the desk as we ship it. After the year the seat still runs on the last build you unlocked. New versions after that year are not owed unless you buy again.

  14. 15 · Hosting

    Self-host is the $49 kit. A hosted Paperclip desk will be subscription-based. Hosting is not for sale yet — available soon. When it ships it is a separate product. We run the desk. The mind is either Frisky pups (Code Pup and the floor) billed as an extra, or BYOK (SuperGrok, Z.AI, Kimi Code, or any similar key). Pups and BYOK are not bundled into the host fee.

  15. 16 · Mailing

    Joining the mailing list is optional and not the kit license. We mail product news — kit, hosting, Code Pup. You can leave by writing founder@friskydev.com. We do not sell the list.

  16. 17 · Voiceprint

    Voice biometrics are optional and not the kennel. Enrollment stores a hash, not a wav. Matching runs through a vendor you connect (Azure Speaker Recognition, AWS Voice ID, or ID R&D). Their bill. Spoof detection is theirs. We do not sell voice data.
